Every literary work, even the most realistic, is nourished by daydreams. It contains an element of fantasy and appeals to the imagination. What happens when a work leaves such a deep impression that it changes the way we look at reality? Can it go so far as to change our lives? A dialogue between worlds and sensibilities, with Brenda Navarro (Empty Houses/Maisons vides; Des cendres dans la bouche) and Kyo Maclear, author of Unearthing, winner of the Governor General of Canada Award, non-fiction category. This conversation is part of the series “Writer’s Dreams or when Literature Changes Realiy.”
